Our Funds

SHUAA Capital's Asset Management provides some of the best options for investors looking to access regional stock markets. We currently sponsor and manage a growing number of investment funds targeting the MENA region, including equity and debt capital markets as well as regional structured products, providing both conventional and Shariah-compliant investment solutions.

We hold the longest track record for managing a regional MENA equity fund. Our fund management strengths include:

Our flagship fund is the SHUAA Capital's Asset Management Arab Gateway Fund (AGF). It is a Pan MENA, open-ended, investment vehicle offering investors access to over 15 stock markets through a single fund, investing in long-only listed equities. Utilising a blend of top down macro country and sector allocation, as well as bottom up fundamental stock picking, the AGF aims to outperform the S&P Pan Arab Composite Index.

Other SHUAA Capital's Asset Management funds include our Emirates Gateway Fund (EGF) and Saudi Gateway Fund (SGF), offering regional and international investors access to the UAE and Saudi markets. Both are open-ended single country equity funds and also have substantial track records. We also act as the fund manager to the Qatar Gate Fund (QGF), which offers access to the Qatari market.

Our funds are available for direct investment or via a network of regional and international distributors. Distributors receive ongoing training to develop their knowledge of Middle Eastern markets so they in turn can provide a comprehensive service to their clients, no-matter where they are located in the world. Our asset management team is available on short notice to provide comprehensive information and the latest statistics on our funds to assist clients, distributors, and prospective investors.

Clients and distributors have access to their portfolios online, receive monthly fact sheets and are updated with the latest information on their investments in the fund manager’s monthly commentary. In addition to monthly reporting, our MENA strategist issues a monthly strategy note that outlines our view of the MENA markets and planned allocation strategy.
